The Philadelphia Flyers of the 1970s created history by being the first post-expansion team to win a Cup led by Shero's unique presence, wisdom and coaching genius. His resume is filled with success. | Fred Shero was an inovater in the game of Hockey he was the first coach to put an assistant on the bench. He also studied the russian game and figured out how to beat them when the rest of the NHL was getting beat.. Plus he won Stanley cups with the Flyers and guided the Rangers to the finals as well. Its a crime this man is not in the Hall of fame. |

| I'm actually from Easton, Pa. but have relocated to Tn. I have been there right from the first game the Flyers ever played. I remember when the roof blew off the Spectrum. I watched Clarkie play his first game. I remember when Doug Favell came out with his orange colored goal mask at halloween. My son and me have to be the biggest fans ever. If Freddy does not get into the Hall of fame, I'm handing out a game misconduct. !! "If it's pretty skating they want to see, let them go to the Ice Capades". !! Flyers Fan Forever !!
